Here's a trick that helped me boost my self esteem back when it was severely damaged. Look in the mirror everyday and give yourself a compliment. Eventually, you'll believe everything you hear and thus your self esteem will rise. Also, this trick is sort of detrimental to the advice I just gave you but it works for me, when talking to people pretend that you are attractive. Imagine the most attractive person in the world and then imagine yourself being that person. Ignore what people say, the only opinion that matters when it concerns your looks is your own.
