Some people [read; most] don't live up to the standard of perfection set by the media, yeah sure some might be even further from the unrealistic ideal than the norm, but it's best to learn not to give a fuck, there are more worthwile and fulfilling pursuits in this life than vainly attempting to become one of the "beautiful people".
