Is it normal to always be prepared for the end of the world?

  • I feel that there is nothing wrong with being prepared. You can incorporate preparedness into your everyday living. Have you stocked up on canned goods? If they're on sale, why not? Feel free to use them though, don't just let them sit and avoid them.

I'm in the same boat, I've planned on making a cottage in the woods, but it will be fully functional and be a cottage as well as a getaway in the event something happens.

There are things you can do as hobbies, like archery, that would be functional in a post apocalyptic world. I started blacksmithing, but I also really enjoy it as a hobby, not just incase the world goes to hell in a handbasket.

    • Good for you man.
To me just the thought of the next bill and the next rent are already sort of an apocalypse.:-[
