Is it normal to always be paranoid after having sex?

Every time I've ever had sex I was always extremely paranoid that I'm going to get pregnant we always use condoms but I'm always still worried.. My periods are irregular which only add to my paranoia by making me think I'm late... Is this normal?

  • It's very normal to feel paranoid!
I can be the same way in certain situations.
However, this has taught me to take more precautions when having sexual intercourse.
I've decided that sex is definitely NOT on my agenda, until a SERIOUS relationship comes along and then I will consider birth control. But.. with the effects of the pill nowadays, I ask myself. Is it worth it?

  • Why don't you try the pill or another contraceptive besides condoms?

  • as already stated, if it bothers you take matter in your own hands, get your own birth control. Condemns are not your safest solution. He can still wear them even if you are on the pill. If you are not old enough to get your own birth control then you are not old enough to be having sex.

  • Yes. I'm a dude and my ex had the same problem with the irregular periods and the paranoia of being prego. I left her because of al the stress, so you might not wana freak out so much or not have sex.

  • Does the pill actually mess with your emotions and stuff as much as a lot of people say it does?

  • Don't worry so much, sure there is a chance of you getting pregnant even with a condom.

My husband and I have been together for 7 years and have JUST NOW had a son (and we planned him). Sometimes we used condoms, sometimes we didn't.

If I were you I would still use the condoms but make him pull out before he cums. It puts a damper on things but it's an extra-safe step.

Good luck and stop worrying so much! :)
