Is it normal to actually like the idea of a virtual girlfriend?

I have seen alot of post making fun of Japan, for making virtual girlfriends, but i have always seemed to like the idea, and maybe even wanted one

    I want one, but much like an inflatable doll, I wouldn't want anyone to know I had one. Even if I wasn't using it for cybersex, there's something clearly wrong about referring to a computer program as "my girlfriend".

    Idk if it's a True AI then I'd definitely love to make a connection w/ something that isn't human (women defecate which is absolutely terrible and wrong /s), I absolutely love AI, but a Weak AI I probably would still be friends w/ her or have some fun

      That's also the one I would think most people would want, but I have also seen Phone apps that would have a girlfriend that would remind you of stuff, and which you could chat with.
