Is it normal to actually have a deep haterade for your sister??

  • I think it is important to remember she is your sister. Nothing is going to change that.

I have an older brother I hate. He is an embarassment to my entire family. He took a gun to school in grade 9, dropped out in grade 10. He is in his 30's now with no GED or anything. To keep him from working fast food jobs, my family lets him work in our jewelry store where he royally fucks everything up. Someone is always cleaning up after his ass because he is such a screw up. Had 4 kids with different hoochies. He is a disgrace to my family. I always say I hate him. So do my other brothers. But, yet we always invite him to outings, make him in the wedding party, make sure he has things he needs in life. He is our brother. No matter how much we hate him, he is one of our own.

So if I can keep from hating my sorry sack that is my oldest brother, you can keep from hating her. That is what family is about. You will always be family.

    • I admire your patience and tolerance but remember that not every situation is the same. Some people would be better off living apart and not mingling together. And maybe your brother has been too overprotected. That's why he doesn't make an effort to work well. He doesn't understand the value of a hard day's work. Maybe if he worked in a fast food job he would change and become more appreciative. If people treated him like shit for a change he would realise how his own behaviour affects others and he would become a better person. You're not doing him any favours by preventing him from hitting rock bottom. Remember my words.
