I tuck mine in under my waist band and my shirt hides it until it goes away. When I got older I started being able to control it. From 12-18 it seemed like it was out of my control. It should stop one day
As a part time bus driver I hope I never have to deal with weirdos like OP.
Hen night warm up party in the bus, stoners, people who fall asleep and you have to wake up and kick out of the bus at the last stop (I feel bad for such folks), smelly people, occasional drunks (with occasional vomit... thank God I don't have to clean the bus) idiots who block the door... but nothing too crazy.
My wildest ride was one with an old dude. He stood still next to the front door, staring at me the whole time. Few minutes in the journey he looks at me and says loudly "Stop doing that! You are making me very angry!"
I asked what he was on about, he said my bouncy air-ride seat is making him angry and that I should stop bouncing up and down. Most drivers set up their seats on the softest and bounciest setting, so the ride isn't hard on the back.
Told the guy I'm not changing my seat settings, if he doesn't want to look at me he can go to the back of the bus.
Guy got furious, started banging on the door, demanding to be let out, yelling he'll file a complaint against me. I stopped and let him out.

Normal. Learn to not get embarrassed by it (erections are a natural part of life). Then it will likely occur less often.
I remember when I was a teen and I used to catch this bus on a Friday that went through the middle of a big town just after the office workers knocked off and all these young women would get on in skirts and heels. Hard times. Specially if one of them ever sat next to me.
This is like one of those universal occurences that everyone will experience at least once in life
