Is it normal that I think that more emotions should be put into the arts (i.e. music, art, literature)? Emotions and messages are the most important things when it comes to certain forms of entertainment. Is this normal?

    I think the "arts" are actually pretty emotional as it is.

    In fact that's predominantly what I think of when I think of the arts. Expression of emotion.

    Of course that's not what it's always or all about but still... it's quite abundant.

    So normal. Art can sometimes be an expression of how the artist feels.
