Is it normal thongs to feel like they're chaffing your butt crack? I used to wear them everyday and I never noticed anything. I am trying to switch back for summer after having worn bikini style all winter and they chafe! I'm sure they still fit because the clothes I wear them with still do.
if they are kinda old the material could be getting worn and the threads are whats chafing. Pull on it , there should be some elastic-ness to it. it could also be the cut. i can only wear thongs with a string, the ones that are a bit wider (a piece of material) feel like a wedgie to me.
Some with wider bits at the back are fine for me, but not if that bit is too wide. What I almost always find is that they come up too high-waisted on me and/or are made of too much/not enough material (I'm only 5").
This is annoying as it means I can only wear some of them under dresses or playsuits.
Even though I'm not a girl I've watched and read about thongs. Depending on If the thong fits or not could play a factor in that. Also depending on the seams and how smooth they are can play a factor. Lastly the width of the fabric between your cheeks can play a role in if it rubs too much.
