Eh. Who knows if it would even have worked. Had it been meant to be it would've happened. I was super shy and nervous in high school and I ended up dating a guy I had a crush on there who was completely opposite to me. He seemed great and all when we used to just be friends but turned out to be an ass. I thought he was my soulmate but he's actually genuienly the worst person i've ever met. I was also only in love with my fabricated version of him I realized. That's a pretty common problem especially I think when you've been walking around crushing on and fantasizing about someone for a long time before you actually date them.
