The last I checked, stars and other celestial bodies had no gender. It's Betelgeuse in Orion. I did not know that there were debates over the name. How dare they want to call it "Beetlejuice"!
No, I like the name as is.
Beetle juice is the character from the show. Apparently there is also a star with the name as its spelled "Betelgeuse". The one in the show is male yes.
Is it normal they spell it Betel Guese?

I know both of the show and the film. However, the Star has had that name for a very long time, long before the franchise ever came into existence.
