Is it normal these are my 3 favorite shows?

Many people I know tend to like only comedy shows, or only drama shows. This are my three favourite shows: Dexter, Sherlock, and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
Regardless of why I like these shows, is this normal?

Is It Normal?

  • I really wish there was a combination of all these shows. Seriously, who wouldn't watch a magical murderous unicorn detective with a monocle and an endearing sidekick?

  • Don't understand why it wouldn't be normal. Mine favourite three are probably the IT crowd, Twin Peaks and Breaking Bad. I don't think they're that similar. It's good to get a bit of variety:)!

    • Twin Peaks? Really? I swear some facility cloned a female version of me and the result of it is... well... you.

      • Welcome back:D. Haha, I'm not your clone, Twin Peaks is just the best! How could anyone not love a show with characters like that? And it's funny, and a bit weird, and interesting.

      • You have to admit the final season was a little odd.

        • Hehe! It was but I like those episodes most. It was the film that annoyed me!

      • Yeah, I love that show. Still not sure how I feel about the way they ended the last season though, with Gus and everything. It was a bit...I don't know! I feel a bit iffy about it. New season looks good though, I need to catch up.

        • 3 days until the last episodes ever. This season has been the best one.

Me and my brother have bets placed on what happens to Walt.

      • Yeah it's on my list but there are too many shows to watch because I just started watching Supernatural and wanna watch Stargate, Game of Thrones and Merlin too. But I'll start Dexter after I catch up with Supernatural ^^

        Comment Hidden ( show )
  • Yeah, it's normal to like things!

  • Dexter and MLP are cool but I'm not really getting into Sherlock.

  • It's normal to like things.

  • They are very popular shows, so why wouldn't it be normal?

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • There are people who only like comedies or only like dramas? I've never heard of that; I don't see why these people would limit themselves but then again I guess everyone limits themselves in all walks of life - TV being no different - and there's nothing wrong with that really. It's definitely normal to like a good variety though :) Sherlock is one of my favourite things on TV too, but there aren't enough episodes for me to get into it properly.

    • My mom only likes comedy and romance. I like horror, comedy, romance, drama, etc. Lol. I don't get how people can't see the beauty in all things.

    • I don't really mind that there arn't that many episodes. I like that they are really long, everything can be fully developed, and the story isn't rushed :)

      • I like the fact that the stories are very well-developed about it too. I think that's one of the things that's exceptional about it, even if it is at the expense of the number of episodes :P I just find it harder to get addicted to than a programme where episodes come out every week for eight or ten weeks in a row, even though I like it more.
