    I'm a female switch. It's my impression that the seemingly lack of female subs, may be due to cultural expectations for women ("be a strong woman", etc.) and shame.

      switch? u mean ur half the time a sub, half the time a dom?

      ur impression is wrong. what u said can easly be said on men as well, even more so, so it doesnt explain anything.

      most of the general reasons for this phenomenon are the ones i mention already.

      by the way, u're in any way tied to 'kitkat avangarde extreme' films? (probally not)

        Basically, it means that I have the tendencies of both a Dom and sub.

        Women's sexuality is usually shamed. Whereas men's is celebrated. This could be why there seems to be a lack of female subs.

        Besides, the scenario of a dominatrix beating a man is much more coveted than the scenario of beating another woman.

        I'm not familiar with the films you listed.

          if this were true, then why there are so many female dom? ur arguement make no sense.
