We aren't talking about a situation where a person just hates or abuses their spouse and insults them. The wife here is apparently asking OP for his blessing, or she would just go ahead and cheat, and tell him to live with it or piss off. But she wants him in on this and to be okay with it. This is why the insulting and hurtful approach is baffling. Not because being abusive to a spouse is surprising to anybody.
The obvious answer is that she doesn't want another husband at all, at least not at the same time, and she only said these things to hurt him.

Abuse comes in different forms, not just phyiscal. What she's doing is considered psychological abuse.
I get dick size is a super sensitive subject for men, but what she's doing isnt all surprising. Shes a bitch, but a common one.
