Ahh, just that it's people's voices and they've generously donated them. A lot of people felt odd about doing it even temporarily and I'd never want to take advantage of people's generosity. Some that were on the site have already been removed and, also, I'm the only one who can edit the site. If I ever get knocked down by a bus, people's voices would be stuck there permanently.
I guess I could email everyone who submitted, though, and ask if they'd want to be individually removed if the site was to be permanent. Personally, I don't mind mine staying up. I'm forever talking about my accent here and it'd be nice just to tell people to go listen. :)
I'd be happy to leave mine up if it matters? It doesn't bother me having it there anymore, I kinda like it:). I agree with Avant that it should stay up :D
I'm surprised that you could notice an accent, the one on the recording is very mild compared to how I normally speak. And I hope you do, I love hearing people's voices, they're all so great:D!
One reason that I'd actually like to leave it up is that it's a snapshot of who was here on the site, a bit like a family photo. We all come and go and people leave all the time and its kind of a nice memento.
Half the current voice posters will be gone in a year. It'd be nice if I posted the story again and people saw it and said, "Aww, do you remember bananaface? She was mental wasn't she? Who'd have thought she'd marry Louie Spence and conquer Hollywood?" :P

...And speaking of mental, bananaface is about to do something which could only be described as completely insane. Now, I'm not going to make any promises, but I think you might just get a pleasant (and completely embarrassing) surprise today:D! Haha:P.

Well, I do wonder what bananaface could be about to do. I'm pretending to be all nonchalant but I'm weirdly excited. Oh, and you almost had an unpleasant surprise. I tried again to wail a certain song. It's bad. It's really bad. It's really, really, really bad. And I'm not being modest. :/
I wish that I could say I'll be here that long, but my moods are too unpredictable for that. I might not even be on here next week for all I know.
And don't be excited, that will only make it even more disappointing! I haven't recorded it yet, but I just read it and it was soooooo bad, you wouldn't even believe how bad! I refuse to say "thy", and I can't even do my own accent properly.
Ok, I need to shut up before I wimp out, I'm doing this thing, god damn it! I hope you change your mind, though. I'm not even gonna pretend to be nonchalant, I really want to hear it:D!
