Literally. The sound can be relaxing if you want it to be. Calm down, sit down, close your eyes, breathe deeply and listen to the sound. Or don't even listen at all. Just breathe deeply and let your mind drift off.
It's definitely not normal to be as worked up as you are over the sound of running water. You need to calm down, stop being so angry and chill.
