My mom is weird. When we fight she yells then leaves (still angry), yells more outside the room, comes back in to yell more, then leaves again still mad. She refuses to forgive me for anything until about a day later. After shes sick of screaming at me (usually for an hour) then she goes after my family. If we leave her alone when we come back shes twice as mad! IIN? Any tips on handling her?
Don't make her mad.Is that so hard?And if she does,just keep repeating sentences like:Can you please stop yelling at me?Can't we just have a quiet civilized conversation for once?Please!Stop yelling!If you keep yelling on me like that I'm gonna turn deaf.(Fake headaches help).I'm not in the mood for this.I have a headache.Please stop yelling at me.(of course you got to make it believable)Don't rush her.And keep aiming at calming her down.Like:Why do you always have to yell at me?
(If you don't know why,in case you do know why,it means you probably deserve to be yelled at)Mom!The neighbours can hear you two blocks away!Do we really need to let everyone listen at our arguments??(Don't forget to look very annoyed and bored,and don't ever look at her straight in the eyes,she might get more angry feeling challenged.Like a bull.) Or the argument breaker:Don't you know I love you?
I can't even remember the last time we had a quiet(stress it,Quiet)conversation.
Be creative.Or just hit her on the head with a blunt object as soon as she turns her back on you.Then call social services and tell them she tried to attack you so you had to hit her.(This one is so not cool)Or,interrupt her in the middle of a sentence and say:Excuse me.I have to go to the restroom.(And if she keeps on yelling at you while you are sitting on the toilet)Would you mind?I'm tring to take a dump!JEEEEZ!Anyway,your mama is probably an anxious neurotic with intermittent explosive disorder episodes.Does she smash stuff too?Tossing it at you?things of that nature?Cause if she doesn't,she will probably start doing that soon enough. I know only of one case in which somebody succesfully shut his mom up once and for all.And he managed to make her fight with the family,from which she gets "charged up" with "arguing yelling energy",they probably actually actively encourage her,then he managed to make her get involved in his life and kind of corrupted her with gay speeches.But it's a really hard thing to do. Good luck taming the yelling raging birth giver.
it is comepletly normal for your mom to yell for hours on end. My mom does it allll the time. Its just cause they need to get ALL of their anger out. So the best thing to do is just to try and not talk back. Even if shes completely wrong, it will still be your fault.
