Is it normal that, whenever i pee i have the urge to spit?

When I'm pissing, in a urinal or a toilet, if I'm standing up, I have the urge to spit in the urinal or toilet. I never see anyone else doing it. Just gotta spit. Not hawking up phlegm or anything, just a bit o' spit.
