I suppose it depends... From my experiences, it's usually the adult who is more polite than the teenagers. I've met allot of people in my age group who displayed their "politeness" or lack of for different reasons. A few were genuinely polite and the rest either faked their politeness or faked nothing and were upfront with their rudeness... Most of the adults I've met had a completely different way they carried themselves. Manners were usually real and so was their level of maturity...
