  • hmm but isn't PTSD when you avoid the situation/people or triggers as much as possible to reduce arousing those feelings of pain?? I researched it and that's some of what i found. Another thing, i came to the realization after the situation had been long gone, that sadly in this case you cant blame the father as she willingly jumped in his bed next to him, ofc you can blame him for the previous years though. So im concerned...is she mentally sick and do you really think something was going on..the door was even locked sometimes? :O :/

    • Good point, it would give her anxiety and repulse her. You can blame the father though, because it is obviously NOT RIGHT and being a grown adult whether it was in fact her idea or not, should have quickly declined and never done it in the first place. Usually by the term sexual abuse though, it means it was the fathers intent, otherwise it would just be incest and not sexual abuse. But like a lot of people who get taken advantage of/kidnapped/abused for a long time, they develop a kind of relationship with that person and become trusting and dependent on them.

      • yes you are totally right, i do agree...and I think it may have been sexual abuse and now years later it's lead to incest. I think that it must have affected her mentally in such a way that she went back to her father and became involved. I think she may need help?
