I am American and I am offended that you stereotype all Brits as snobs.
In my experience (and I have lived in England), we Americans are even snobbier because we think we're better and deserve to be better than everyone else. We're nothing but obnoxiously arrogant arseholes that treat the world as our own.
Obviously, if all the groups you like are British there must be something that the people of England, Scotland, and Wales got that we don't. Accept it.
I'm sorry but I have to add more. I didn't bother reading the end of your blog but now I see that you even went as far as to say America is BETTER than Britain? they do not have only "fields and castles." And what's with the lack of big cities...um heard of LONDON? stirling, cardiff, bristol, bath, salisbury, and even belfast is in the united kingdom. i think you're a naive American and you are exactly the type of person that gives our country its stereotype. and honey, i hail from a small town in western PA and am therefore not far from ohio. guarantee you it's not that great.
