Well it was the first long-distance one in Germany that work was actually started on. And whether it was the first or not, my point is that it is one example of a morally neutral/good thing that a dictator thought of as the personification of evil (and perhaps the only leader hated more than Trump) has actually done.
What do you mean 'low hanging' anyway? The fact that it's hard to think of a public figure whom everyone would agree is worse is than Trump, says something about public perceptions of Trump, and that's precisely my point. As for my own opinion on Trump, he isn't my president, so please don't bring me into your fight. I've got enough on my plate with Brexit. You can checkmate until you're blue in the face: I don't have enough f***s left to give to get into petty opinion wars over Trump.
What I'm interested in is probing and exploring possibilities. Interesting ones. Controversial ones. The kind you can have when your supply of f***s is low enough to be able to play around with ideas, and Adolph Hitler is just a placeholder for any leader associated with diabolical evil who ever did any incidentally positive things too that are less well publicised. By all means join in if you want. But if you can't do it constructively, or without being overwhelmed with negative emotions, save your breath.
Well said.
You dont think the E.U. is worth saving?
Seems to simplify trade and travel.
Looking at it totally as someone from someplace else.
I see strength in unity.
Is it normal that this is a huge issue for me?
