I think it's normal. Body temperature does increase during sleep. There are a few factors that could have to do with why you are becoming over-heated during daytime sleeps as opposed to night sleeps. Some of them could be environmental influences.
Is your house cooler at night than in the day?
Do you nap with your clothes on or off (compared to night)?
You might also be sweating at night, but you are not noticing it because you sleep through it.
