Is it normal that the voice in your head acts sentinent?

I have the problem of the voice in my head acting like a sentinent being, and what's more, it HATES me. It also disrupts my concentration by talking randomly to me and making me nervous and jumpy, and it also plays random music in my head, especially during exams, is this normal?
Another additional feeling is that whenever I need something, the voice taunts me and soon the opposite of what I needed appears? This may not be connected to my mind, but I want to ask anyways.

I get it too. I have had psychosis but don't think it's that as the symptoms have always been there. I think it's more my ocd, specifically intrusive thoughts; look it up.

Sounds a little like one of the symptoms of psychosis (paranoid schizophrenia specifically). Some schizophrenics find they have a seemingly separate 'voice in their head', something other than their 'main voice', that can disrupt, distract and demand. It's one of several hallucinations commonly experienced.

However, it may also be quite normal, so don't be quick to self-diagnose. We often have conflicting thoughts, or our minds run away with themselves and can be quite distracting. Sometimes we can be so aware of that 'inner voice' that it no longer seems like us speaking - it seems too immediate to be in our control, saying things you wouldn't consciously say, which can make it seem like a distinct entity rather than our subconscious reacting to various thoughts and feelings.

Not sure if you're serious but I've had that problem for as long as I can remember, feels like my 'thoughts' are someone else and they are mean to me, scary, depressing and annoying but I can't control them

Everyone has it. Some just have it stronger than others. It is normal. See a physician just in case!

These are just your thoughts. Take no notice. They got nothing to do with you.
