For years i put the lid down thinking that was the females expectation of a man, i felt a bit foolish when i found out it was just the seat.
No, not just the seat. Not just expectation of males.
I ask all my guests to put the lid down before flushing, irrespective of gender. I hope the males take both seat and lid up when they choose to urinate from standing.
