It's just plain good manners for men to lift the seat to pee and then put both seats back down when they're done. Some of us have dogs and cats who are smart enough to open bathroom doors and if the seat's left up those critters might drink out of the toilet. If someone doesn't respect the health of my animals I don't want them in my house or my life.
Having bad manners in my personal living space is a deal breaker for me. I'm happy and grateful that I'm not lonely or desperate enough to accommodate someone who's lazy and unsanitary.
And don't get me started on people, both male and female who don't wash their hands!
P.S. And people (both male and female) who sprinkle when they tinkle and don't care to be neat and wipe the seat really disgust me. I mean, who does that? Do these jerks want people to see their piss? Sometimes I wonder if these people are trying to mark their territory.
IIN that the toilet seat issue with men and women is still a thing?
