Is it normal that the side effects continue to occur?

I am schizophrenic and take tablets (Biperides) for dystonia, which has been occurring at least once a week for a few months. The dystonia is drug-dependent.
Since a few days I have a dizzy feeling. Now, without taking them, I feel like I am on drugs. Everything is so slow and I have the taste of decomposition in my mouth.

Is it normal that such side effects occur even without using them?

    Some medications can stay in your system for weeks after you stop taking them, which is good for when you accidentally skip a dose but terrible when you’re trying to come off them. I hope things get better for you soon!
