Is it normal that the sibling relationship improved?

My sister didn't really talk to me before because I'm close to my father and she isn't(We have same father and different mother) but not to long ago I started noticing that her friends would smile for me. I took it as nothing at first but then she started stopping me whenever we ran into each other to tell me that her friends liked to see me. I talk to a few of her friends and even dated one and now I talk to my sister normally we even have convos on BBM.

So is it normal that my sister's friends helped improve our relationship?

    I don't see what the problem is here. It sounds like a good thing to me, you're growing closer to your sister, why question how it happened?

      Nah I'm just saying it didn't happen on its own it was because her friends liked me...

    I'd be weary. It smells like a trap. Why is being so friendly now, all of the sudden out of no where? She didn't say that *she* wants to see you, only that her friends do. She's probably trying to lure you in, get your guard down and then her and her friend are going gang up on you and attack you. My friends and I did this very same thing to my sister once.
