    This is an opinion.

    Roosters are males and they are quite ugly compared to Hens which are female for example.

      They may be uglier to some humans (not me), but roosters are still more dressed up with their saddle feathers, extra colors, ect.

      The hens are pretty, but their feathers are simple.

      They are in fact uglier but if you look at peacocks an peahens then that's a bit different, isn't it?
