Is it normal that the leading spot treatment brands dont work very wel

I'm 25 and I have a few spots here and there in my face, I'm trying to get rid of them but stuff like clearasil doesn't actualy work, is there something wrong with my skin or something cuz I dunno.

Is It Normal?

  • It's theoretically possible it doesn't work because you have roseacea, and not acne. If it's redness and bumps, but you don't get the pustules, it may not be acne.

Personally, the thing that worked for me is being on the birth control pill. Obviously not a great option if you're male though. If you're female and you get worse breakouts just before or during your period, this might be the answer if going on the pill is reasonable for your situation otherwise.

  • Only thing that worked for me is cosmedix best thing that EVER happened to me! but its too expensive to put on my back too as I have a bit of acne there too, but you can cover your back not your face! Good luck!

  • I went through just about every acne medication and the strongest one which finally worked was roaccutane, it took 6 months to worked and made me depressed ( a common side effect o roaccutane) but it worke wonders and it never comes back again after treatment. See a dermatologist as this stuff is prescription only
