Please, guys do this all the time. Most people don't tell people straight up to fuck off. Especially people like this. They cheat or start seeing someone else and don't say anything, ignoring the other person hoping they will go away, or just putting off telling them untill they simply can't anymore. Maybe she should ask his last few hook-ups how he ended it with them.

The irony there is totally hilarious. Trying to use a player for sex!? You need to tell him now, he might stay on any way. You will make it harder for both or you if leave it any longer.

That's okay. I was beginning to think that *I* had got it wrong, and I was about to slink away in a fit of embarrassment when the OP left a comment. "Hooking up" is too vague a term tbh, and I must look it up instantly on Urban Dictionary to restore my confidence.
