We've been hooking up for a few months now and I keep asking him to have sex with me but he keeps making excuses and putting it off. The strange thing is that this guy is known to be a HUGE player and has no problem with one night stands. I originally started hooking up with him cause I thought he would have no problem with no strings attached sex but he keeps saying it needs to be special because it's a bigger deal than hooking up. I know he's attracted to me because he never hooks up with the same girl for this long. I just don't get why he refuses sex with me and not other girls! Is this normal? Help!

    Maybe he has an STD at the moment and is still having treatmemt so doesn't want to admit it to you, or doesn't want you to catch it.

    I'm baffled as to why you'd want to have meaningless sex with a player anyway. Plenty of my friends have tried to reform these wonderful characters - to no avail.

        I didn't mean it like a game. I just meant move on, get with someone else...and guage his reaction, observe what he does. Then she'd know if he liked her or if it's nothing depending on how he acts. Maybe. She needs to just move on, anyway.

          IF he wants to break up. That wasn't the impression I got at all. Moving on just for the sake of guaging a reaction IS playing a game. Moving on if he wants to break up is obvious, but I don't think he does; he isn't cheating or doing anything to suggest that he does. Don't judge him just on his past, he might be a genuinely good guy.

            The post doesn't say anyhting about them going out, dating or anyhting. So....OP, what are you doing with him as far as seeing eachother and talking? If he's still going out with you, then maybe....but if he's avoiding you, then get a clue. It would really help to know how your relationship is other than the sex part, in order to really know what he's up to.

              Well, I am a guy, and I wouldn't jump straight into sex if the girl meant something to me. If he was just a player, he wouldn't have an issue telling her to fuck off, but he clearly does have an issue.
