Once upon a time, a much older girl tricked me into coming a bit closer and flicked my ear extremely hard. Knowing myself, waterfalls were most likely flowing from my eyes and rightly so. It was painful and unexpected. 2-4 hours later I was still in pain and my ear was as red as rudolph's lightbulb.
That aside, I don't see anything wrong with your situation. In fact, it sounds like he likes you.
