The majority of PC gamers is simply annoyed at consoles, because the many multi-platform releases do a VERY bad job when being ported over to the PC. This almost always affects the UI, controls and sometimes even performance negatively. I do put this down to devs not putting in that little bit of extra effort to improve this, because the controls and UI at least should be easily fixable.
In addition the consoles update cycle somewhat holds back PC graphics in multi-platform games, as witnessed with many games. (For example: Far Cry 3s graphics were lowered so that consoles could run it.) This is a non-issue for me though, as how a game plays is more important than how many polygons the heroins breasts consist of.
Is it normal that the console wars make me feel ashamed to be a gamer?
