Is it normal that sometimes I just "sit there"?

  • There is none, but I wanted to be a schizo when I was younger for a cheap high. I realize the reality of that now and want it no more.

On the other hand, I might get this behavior from my father, who sits and stares when he's angry. He does seem delusional at times, but he's not been diagnosed with schizophrenia to my knowledge.

The fright was mixed with interest, so it's ok. I love talking psychology, even when it is scary.

    • Right, I see. My family's got a history of depression and bipolar disorder, and possibly some other issues as well; I've never officially been diagnosed with anything but I suspect I might be schizotypal or have Asperger's; or some combination of the two.

Like I said, you probably don't have anything like catatonic schizophrenia; it was just on my mind since I'm currently doing a bit of research on it.
