Is it normal that some random little boy came up to me and acted like this?

I was at the park listening to my mp3 player and there were kids there. I wasn't really paying attention to them but then this little boy just winked at me for some reason and then came over and started talking to me. Like about his birthday and how he's gonna be 6 soon and I was like "uh huh, wow, cool! Happy birthday" and then he said that he wanted me to have a sleepover with him O.O and then said "I really like girls, I like ALL girls." I was just like, stunned. But I just nodded along like "ok, that's nice ^^" cause I didn't know how else to respond. Well anyway the teacher woman managed to drag him away telling him to leave me alone and started telling him to remember social distancing rules and he was NOT happy about that like he stood looking really angry. Then eventually when I was going home he waved at me and I waved back and then he blew a kiss at me and shouted out (in front of everyone as well) "I love you!" Is this normal? Is it weird that I feel concerned about this? Or is that normal for a kid to act like that? I didn't even know him. I just have a feeling that it's kind of weird that that happened.
Oh and please don't get the wrong idea! I was just sharing this story that happened to me and was wondering if people thought this was strange or not.

Kids are dorks, they like to mimic what they see, probably saw some slick fella in a movie say the same thing and decided to pick it up

Just wait until he watches Friends and discovers, “How you doin’?” 😏

Aww, that's cute! Kids do crazy and spontaneous stuff all the time. I once was proposed to by a 6 year-old girl with a heart shaped black and white striped acrylic ring... lol

There are adults in actual relationships who aren’t that romantic.

Hah! True. I said 'yes'! We had a 15-second ceremony and a 30-second marriage, and then we moved on to the next activity in class. Hahaha

Sounds like just another wacky, little guy.

He's looking for attention. There are several possible reasons for that... and the most likely one is that he is not getting the right kind of loving and caring attention at home.

I was just talking about how my kids would gladly walk off with strangers Bc they’re so extroverted. (I hate that it’s the truth 🙄)

It’s not weird at all. He thought you were cool. That’s awesome.

The “teacher” was just being practical and probably concerned that she lost a kid long enough for this to happen. Lol.

Little kids do stuff like this. Their brains aren't fully formed yet and they don't understand all the social rules. At that age They still struggle to tell the difference between fantasy and reality. He probably saw you, thought you were pretty, and decided to release a stream of consciousness upon you. In his head you two are probably friends now.

I remember my eldest used to walk up to random women in the park to cuddle them. It was just a phase. Obviously as a parent you keep an eye on them and intervene ASAP, but sometimes it can still happen.

    I wouldn't worry about it.
