You'd first have to define "racism," as it's actually an incredibly vague term when you think about it.
I assert that "mild" forms of racism are completely natural and, in fact, not wholly undesirable. Think about this way: a wolf did not choose his species, but most would argue that it's still perfectly reasonable to exercise discriminatory protocols in dealing with him. Now does this mean that you wish to oppress or enslave his kind? Probably not.
And the old line regarding genetic similarity amongst humans means surprisingly little, as a difference of just 1% is SIGNIFICANT. We share an overwhelmingly majority of our DNA with monkeys after all.
