  • I was going to take up this career since it makes decent money and I know many officers. So that would look good on my background. Its not stupid to be a officer as lousy of a job that you believe it might be. Are you going to say how stupid sucreturys are too? Leave your sibling alone and let him get a job as an officer.

    • I never said being an officer is a bad job to have. I clearly stated that his reason, and yours for that matter, for becoming an officer is a poor one. If one chooses law enforcement due to a sense of duty that is truly great, but to choose law enforcement because of wages is how corruption is created.

      • Yes, and how much do you believe most jobs get that you don't need college to get make? Minimum wage. This makes as much as a job without college/university. That is good money considering most cop jobs do not require college. Security also makes a bit more than minumum wage but you need a license that costs a good bit to do so. Its not unreasonable to want to make a living. I guess you would rather everyone live poor and find the shittiest paying job there is.
