Is it normal that physical activites help me imagine things?

First of all, this is probably the wrong category, so... yeah.

Anyhow.

Whenever I take part in a physical activity, whether it be running, jumping, or just plain exercise, it helps me "imagine". Combined with music, I imagine even more.

By imagine, I mean... well, it's kind of hard to explain. I make up characters in my mind, put them into scenarios, imagine them over and over again.. you get the picture, right?

Anyhow... yeah.

  • It'e because your brain is getting more oxygen than usual, which increases the blood flow.

  • I thought I was the only one too! When no one is home, I'll grab my ipod and jump an my parents bed just so I can get that feeling. I think of all these characters that are dancing or singing with the music. It feels great to just imagine and think like that. I wish I could feel it all the time. :-)

  • Normal. Whenever I go out for a run or even a brisk walk, my imagination starts getting really intense.
