Is it normal that pewdiepie has 50+ million subs

What's a pewdiepie and what is a sub and how do you get 50 million of them?

He's handsome and charismatic, and even when he was trying harder to put on a fake show, he still had his own unique thing going.

To me, somehow he doesn't have that annoying, "Youtubery" vlogger vibe.

When I was having a bad time of life with familial issues, anxiety, and other problems, his videos made me feel happy, comfortable, and included.

He had a special, down-to-earth, quality that really appealed to me. I find him likeable.

Despite that, I find it somewhat strange that he has such an incredibly large following. Some of the subscribers are probably bandwagon followers and not real fans, but still.

Something about him has mass appeal.

That being said, I'm not subbed to him, because he's not making many video game videos, and most of his content doesn't particularly appeal.

You can cane my ass till it looks like a burger. I'd never eat it, though.

He's cool but doesn't deserve as many subs as he has. He's mainly just famous for being famous which is silly.

I prefer DashieGames. He's more annoying than PewDiePie, but I can laugh more at his stuff. XD

Compared to the shit-stirrers who profit off of needless drama, he definitely deserves more subs than them. However, it would be a lot better if he only had a couple million subscribers, maybe only hundreds of thousands, purely because he's the face of youtube and has to watch everything he says or does or else everyone will suffer.

it's actually kind of embarrassing that i used to like the guy. that was back when he was at 8 mill or something though. he's obnoxious nowadays.

Normal means usual, typical, or expected. None of that fits having a lot of subs on YouTube.
