Look around... our resources are dwindling, critters are disappearing, the air and water is turning to crap, there's always a war going on somewhere - yet people keep popping out babies!!! What kind of future is it going to be for our great great grandkids, of there is one at all? I made the choice not to breed, why can't more people do the same?!?!
Hmmm. This sounds like a good excuse to become a serial killer. Lol jk. But I do agree that this planet is becoming way too over populated with humans that are using all of its resources. Octo mom is ridiculous!
It doesn't make me sick per say, but I do think people should consider how many children they really need to bring into the world. Post-industrial revolution, large broods are no longer an asset to the family, but a financial burden. This is not to say that there is no value to children at all, but large amounts of them can only truly be supported by the rich, (who ironically have the smallest amount of offspring -generally), or if you can get a TV show to support your baby making habits.
Point number two is more important to the whole of the human race, and that's over population. Some of the above comments, be they in jest or otherwise, have a very real ring to them, in that Mother Nature, (no, not a Wicken), can and will only be stretched so thin before she strikes back via famine, natural disaster, disease, etc. When there are more people in an area than the natural resources can provide for, something has to give.
For the third point, one needs only watch Idiocracy....very scary movie.
Hmmmmmm why oh why didn't your mom throw herself down a flight of stairs when she was pregnant with you would have been one less person to "use up the worlds resouces" sighs SMH

I agree. There are enough parentless kids out there for everyone. It'd be great if we could just ban reproduction for a couple decades, raise and support the orphans/needy, then start from scratch.
People have too many kids, and they're often too young to support a family (and themselves), or are dealt a bad card and give them up.
It can't happen though, so we'll just have to wait it out and watch the resources depleat.
Don't worry about it. A plague will come and wipe most of us out, either that, or many more people around the world are going to start starving soon.
