Is it normal that people say i am nice, many people are scared of me?

Lately i've noticed that i creep some people out. No i do not dress all in black and no i do not spend hours looking up demon rituals and i am not obsessed with vampires. I do not consider myself a nice guy, but i do not think i am bad, and many people tell me i'm nice. Despite this some people, avoid talking to me at all costs, when they do they speak low and avoid my stare, many of them refuse to point out my mistakes or anything really. The only thing i can think of is that people tell me i kinda look like a gangster, despite the fact that i do not dress like one and for the most part hate gangsters. One more thing, i am always smiling, or i try to, cause i'm a happy guy, not to brag but girls say i got a great smile, but when i don't smile i do look a bit cynical, somewhat, so what you think?

    Let them think what they want. You do your thing and people will see you for who you really are (if they open their eyes). Besides, do you really want to hang around people that are that judgmental? You sound very nice to me.

    you don't need those people to "point out your mistakes", so i don't think you should worry about that.

    people are hard to figure sometimes. you are probably more ok than your realize. hey, maybe it's not you, it's them and their issues.

    same way 4 me i scare people cause im big but ppl dont avoid me they try to be my friend like they r scared im gonna break them. one time a girl even said i was scary just flat out of no where lol very nooormal

    Look at a video of yourself to see what you look like to other people. It could be that you are very tall with a large build, making you seem imposing to others.

    Why don't you ask someone outright why people might find you intimidating?
