Like I said before evolution was a perfect system for changing organisms over time... until humans mostly broke that rule when it wasnt working for them. Any dinosaur that didnt change died. Sharks are still around, so are crocodiles.
Yes I realize. I'm not looking through a purely scientific lens but a philosophical lens too. Why would god leave us with such comparatively boring and uninspiring animals? His power would definitely supercede evolution. So why did he leave no gigantic creatures for us to marvel at and be inspired by?

Elephants are certainly unique. How carnevors are essentially either dogs or cats is unique. Theres lots of cool creatures that exist right now. Its just that we ourselves are bored of those creatures.
