  • When I see someone with an overly enormous truck like that, that doesn't have anything on the towing hitch and doesn't look like it has offroaded or anything, I think "Wow, your overcompensation is a huge waste of gas".

And that whole wanting to get in everyone's face and curse at them because they are looking at your truck funny almost inclines me to say that you might be kind of a prick. I don't know you, but you're driving a huge truck that probably sticks out like a sore thumb from all of the Hondas and Toyotas on the road, and is a lot louder at that being a diesel engine and you're angry at people for looking at you? I'm not even going to explain how stupid that sounds. If you don't want to be noticed, then drive a Corolla. Sorry pal, but that's just how it is.

Would you prefer that they smile and laugh? Or fall to your feet in worship of your huge dick, I mean, truck?

    • I drive a 99 ram cummins for going on a date pullin a goose neck going on road trips. I average 21mpg city 25mpg or so highway. And you cant buy a cummins without a towing package (includes the hitch) So driving a big diesel truck doesnt mean little man problems or there a prick it might just mean he (and many others) have an all around vehicle hat does everything looks badass and gets great fuel mileage!! And remember CUMMINS RULES

      • I hear ya, man. Its because all of the idiots with the stupidly loud, lifted diesels belching black smoke. they also never use the damn things for their purpose. I dont mind the loud pipes, but I wouldent lift a truck unless it went off-road.

    • I used my truck as a truck I haul coal, wood, gravel among other things and actually I get 18-20mpg in a 8k lb truck. So im saving more money than what I was in my smaller truck. It would be different if people just looked and then looked away but most people stare for 10 sec.

      • ...Ok for real.
Your truck is fucking HUGE and I would venture to say that it is loud too. Not to mention, you're staring at anyone that looks at your truck. Come on.

          • What do you mean how is it huge! That's a huge truck, dude! And how do you know that the guy's in the 1500's and 150's are being stared at, do you all have a club where you meet to come to that consensus?

And again, diesel-engine=louder. They're probably all like "Who the fuck is strangling a hippo?" or some shit.

              • It IS a huge truck and you keep missing the part where I say you have a loud diesel engine under that hood.

"You sound like one of those tree huggers that dont like anything but a prius "

I don't normally use this language but I am the proud owner of a Ford Thunderbird V8 and my husband is the proud owner of a V8 Ford Fairlane. I'm a muscle-car freak for V8s and big engines and have not so much as touched a Prius. I learned to drive on an F-150, a Ford Lightning and a Mustang 5.0. To hell with you. Seriously. I'm sitting here trying to help you figure out why these people are staring at you, which is vexing you so, and you insult me? Maybe they stare at you because they can sense that you're a difficult prick.

You have a good day with your gigantic hunk of metal overcompensation.

And by the way, pal, to many people, a Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 Diesel is a HUGE truck. And a LOUD truck. Being able to see from another person's perspective doesn't make me a tree-hugger. I can be open-minded and enjoy big engines at the same time. I know, I know, that intellectual quandary is a little much for you to comprehend. Don't worry about it.
