I mean, I guess it depends on the situation. I have a group of really close friends that will slap/kick/grab my ass, and I'm cool with it because them thinking I have a nice ass is an inside joke and I'm very close with all of them. However, I was slapped by a kid on a school bus, and it made me feel very uncomfortable as it brought back bad memories of sexual abuse. I couldn't just salute or smile, i honestly couldn't help feeling violated. I didn't yell or anything, I simply reported to the driver. I didn't report until it happend three times, I would be afraid to go on the bus after it happened, knowing the kid was there. I think it's all about the intention, my friends had consent and the intention wasn't to fufill a fantasy or hurt me, they were just messing around. But the stranger and my abuser gave off a really bad vibe and it just felt gross.
