If you shower everyday you shouldn't be smelly. Why don't you ask someone if you smell? Or ask why everyone does that. Maybe some kid knows a kid from your previous school and they told them? I would straight up ask someone though. My brother-in-law smells. All the time. Like dirty socks or something. Go to the doctor if you have too to make sure it isn't something more serious.
That was my first thought, that the grapevine has spread to her new school - not hard with facebook etc these days - and the kids at the new school are buying into it at your expense.
I'm not clear whether they've actually said you smell? They may be moving away from you for reason, for instance they're a pack of immature arseholes who always treat newcomers badly?
Alternatively, I once worked with a woman who showered faithfully every morning - we could all tell because she lived near work and wd arrive with wet hair - but she was mistakenly economising on washing her clothes and buying deodorant because she & her bf were saving hard to buy a house.
She didn't save money on smokes unfortunately and what with the cigarette smell and the dirty clothes smell eventually a client complained so the office manager had to talk to her about it, which she should've done before it got to that stage.
No I don't use my facebook at all and I'm not friends with any of the kids from my previous school on there so theres no connection. Also it wasn't like a public thing where they would call me names. They did quietly though in my previous school and they would make faces at me. It was a school with snobs and everybody was shitty. Theres no connection from my previous school to the school I currently go to. Its different cities anyways.
Is it normal that people around me act as if I smell?
