You say they should just "not ask". It sounds more likely to me that they're just being sure. I saw this a lot as my sister both looked incredibly young and was regarded as most likely the prettiest woman around. Looking young is common in my family. Until my sister was 35 she was sometimes mistaken for 17 or so, and even at the point that she turned 35 she just looked like a 17-year-old randomly showing minor signs indicative of aging rather than as if she were in her 20s.

Guys that crushed on her harder than simply casting a glance or two could tell she had an unusual look about her and felt the need to ask. I think that's better than not asking if they were unsure and I think it's safer to assume that guys who didn't ask either had some knowledge of who she was or had admired her long enough to tell rather than that they were sexual predators.

I don't think it's fair to judge someone as a pedo for expressing interest in you in your 30s just because you might look young. I mean are these guys just whipping their dicks out and touching you with them? If they're normal advances they're fine. Perhaps you should be flattered even; many of the guys who eventually hit on my sister turned out to have been observing for a while (not in a creepy sense) and felt overjoyed at confirmation when they saw her buy a beer or something.
