Is it normal that only short guys ask me out?

I am 5'9 but I look 5'11 which really sucks. I never really got asked out in high school because I was too short, but this is my first year of community college and four guys have all asked me out but they are all way shorter than me. They are 5'4, 5'5, 5'5, and 5'7. I can't tell if I seem awkward around them because I am a nervous and shy person or because they are all shorter than me. I don't know why they even like me I mean I am kinda funny but I'm so tall. Is it normal for short guys to like tall girls and for me to feel ugly and weird around them because I feel like a man?

      Well some of us don't have much choose unless we go for basketball player. There was a cute clerk at the acme that was 6'3 like me. I was like omg, a girl I can't look down her shirt

    Oh yeah, and I don't think it really matters. I've liked guys that have been a tad shorter than myself.

    Don't be so hard on yourself. Accept the fact that they like you. I'm sure they see something more in you than your height. Don't worry about it.

      I'm with dizzy on this one, besides, first year and 4 people have asked you out? Iron Tager approves of your magnetism. In other unrelated news, Lovely Complex is a great romance anime that would humor your thoughts about short guys as the main character is a really tall girl and the guy is short, quite hilarious also.

    I think short guys are more likely to be "height blind" than tall guys because it's more difficult for them to find someone shorter so they broaden their horizons (which is no bad thing).

      Also, a lot of men have no preference about a woman's height regardless of their own height.

    I don't think you should eliminate choices because of height. Maybe you feel weird around them for a different reason? I don't know...maybe I am jealous. I am barely 5'3" and desperately want to be taller!

    Damn, too short?!?!? What school did you go to? I'm 5'6.5. If they were calling you too short, I wonder what they'd think of me.

    Plenty of guys love taller girls then them. It's silly to feel ugly because a guy digs your height lol.

      Idk but I think becuase my legs are long it gives an illusion of height and idk i don't slouch so I look taller but when I go back to back with people who look shorter but are 5'10 5'11 I'm always an inch or two shorter :/
