I believe nice guys get overlooked because of evolution. Think about it. Ever heard the saying "if you want to get a girl then treat her like crap?" Well there's actually logic behind that. Throughout history women have been pushed around and guys still "got some." They're use to being treated like crap, it wasn't until recent (1920s) that women started to actually advocate for their rights. I think overlooking nice guys is somewhat hereditary since nice guys haven't really existed in history. At least that's what I believe. You'll have your time. Nice guys lose in high school but win in life.
