I don't really think is is normal behavior then again this decision was probably solely based and influenced by alcohol. What is unfortunate is that it was recorded and that can't be erased. He's probably going to look back on this down the road and be embarrassed and regretful. I definitely think you should talk to him. If he continues on with the behavior then yea, that's on him.
